Aperol Gin Cocktail

A wonderfully easy to make long drink that brings brightness to any glass. Hussingtree Asparagus Dry Gin works beautifully alongside the fruity bitterness of Aperol.

What you need:

Serves 1

  • 50ml Hussingtree Asparagus Dry Gin

  • 20ml Aperol

  • 10ml lime juice

  • 25ml sugar syrup

  • 3 slices of cucumber

  • Chilled soda water

  • Ice cubes

  • Cocktail shaker

  • Strainer

  • Your favourite tumbler

  • ​For the garnish 1 thin slice of fresh or dried lime

How to make it:
  • Put the 3 cucumber slices into a cocktail shaker and muddle to release the juices and flavour.

  • Pour the Asparagus Gin, Aperol, Lime juice and sugar syrup into the cocktail maker.

  • With the top on the cocktail shaker, shake vigorously for 10 - 15 seconds.

  • Pour the liquid through a strainer directly into your glass.

  • Add ice cubes and top up with your desired amount of for soda (adjust to preference in strength and flavour - it can be enjoyed without soda for a shorter drink).

  • Garnish with the slice of lime.
