Business in Worcestershire

The turn of the year has proved to be an opportune time to briefly stop and reflect on our first six months of being in business in Worcestershire. We really can't believe it was only 1st July that we sold our first bottle of Hussingtree Juneberry Gin!

So firstly, thank you to all our customers that have bought a bottle or gift pack. And for the fantastic feedback given to each of our distilled gins.

Beyond the sales of our bottles of gin, what has been immediately apparent are the great relationships we've created with local businesses. Some within our own supply / customer chain, others that we're looking to partner with, and a whole host of others that are simply part of the Worcestershire community.

As Elaine, one of three family members behind Hussingtree Gin explains, “We’ve been overwhelmed by the local support since our launch last year. Significant interest in our products, from consumers and businesses in Worcestershire (and beyond!), has opened up some exciting opportunities for 2019.”

We're pleased to have become members of Worcestershire Food and Drink - an association of independent passionate growers, enthusiastic producers, innovative caterers and retailers.

And we're now members of the Guild of Fine Food - which supports and promotes speciality food producers and the independent delis, farm shops and food halls that sustain them.

In early January we sat down with the events team at Churchfields Farm. We've set out some further dates for our joint Gin Experience Evenings, following tickets for our first set of events selling out within days!

On the back of that partnership we're in discussions with a number of other regional venues. The focus being to deliver a set of distinct gin experiences, that celebrate the flavours of our gins and the produce of the partners. More news to follow soon.

And with the boom in gin still to reach its peak, there’s more on the horizon.

We are establishing links with local producers and businesses, to create complementary offerings that will add value into the brand.

Elaine concludes, “We’re proud to be a business in Worcestershire, and to showcase the county’s wonderful produce through our range of premium gins. By working closely with other businesses in the area, we’re living our ‘Inspired in Worcestershire’ promise.”

If you don't already, make sure you follow us across our social media channels. It's one of the first places to see what we're up to and exciting developments as they come along.

Thanks again to everyone for their support so far. Enjoy your tipple...!
