Strawberry and Rhubarb G&T

A simple yet effective twist on the mighty gin and tonic. Hussingtree Bumbleberry Dry Gin acts as a perfect base to the fruitiness delivered through the strawberries and rhubarb.
What you need:

Serves 1

  • 50ml Hussingtree Bumbleberry Dry Gin

  • 100ml rhubarb syrup (taken from a standard tin of rhubarb)

  • Squeeze of lemon

  • 100ml Indian Tonic
  • Ice cubes
  • Your favourite tumbler

  • ​For the garnish 1 sliced strawberry, and, a sprig of fresh mint

How to make it:
  • Put a generous amount of ice into your glass.

  • Pour the Bumbleberry Gin on top.

  • Strain the rhubarb syrup, pouring straight into the glass and give a gentle stir to the liquid.

  • Pour the tonic into the glass, and add a small squeeze of lemon juice.

  • Add the slices of strawberry.

  • Garnish with the sprig of fresh mint.

  • Three berries - blackberry, bilberry and sloeberry - combine to provide a gentle depth of fruitiness. With a subtle cinnamon finish. 

  • Perfect G&T serve - premium Indian Tonic, garnish with a thin slice of fresh or dried strawberry.
